What Is Team Performance Coaching?
Teams are critical for large-scale efforts. To be successful, they need trust, a clear purpose, goals, roles and responsibilities, collaboration skills, the right tools, and smooth processes. I help your team identify, address and enhance the aspects of team performance that are essential to your shared success.
Via interviews and/or online surveys with stakeholders, I help you identify your team’s strengths and opportunity areas. We co-create plans to leverage your team’s strengths and address challenge areas to take your performance to an even higher level. I also facilitate powerful, results-oriented team meetings and offsites.

How Is Team Performance Coaching Done?
Team Effectiveness Coaching can take a variety of forms. I generally follow a five-phase process that ensures we are designing a program that aligns to what you and your team are hoping to accomplish.
Discover
We start by looking at how your team is currently performing towards achieving your purpose and goals. This is usually a survey and a series of conversations with the team leader, team members and external stakeholders. Based on this information, I create and present an anonymous report. The team discusses their results and aligns on development goals.
DESIGN
Using the information from the Discover phase, I design a workshop (or a series of workshops) with you to address your team's opportunities and challenges. I pull from a vast toolkit, including the Drexler-Sibbet Team Performance Model, Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching, The Enneagram, and Team Coaching International. Together, we select the approach and topics that work best for you and your budget.
DEVELOP
Once we have agreed on a design, I develop the agenda, content, presentation materials, job aids, and team activities required to facilitate open, authentic conversations and skill-building during the workshop(s). Depending on your interest, I co-create this content and material as a way to deepen our partnership and ensure that the workshop is relevant to your team and culture.
Deliver
I deliver training, facilitate conversations and conduct small group and 1:1 activities that are engaging, transformative, and fun. Depending on the size of the team and the scope of the agenda, I may bring in another team coach. After the workshop, I am available to provide ongoing coaching.
DEBRIEF AND DETERMINE NEXT STEPS
If you are interested, we conduct a post-engagement survey to assess and celebrate your progress as a team, and to identify what is left for you to work on collectively.
